STREETLIGHTS in an industrial estate have been switched from part-night lighting to all-night lighting following safety concerns.
County councillor Nick Hollinghurst asked for 15 lights in the town to be put back on after a restaurant worker fell down a set of steps on her way home from a late night shift.
Last Tuesday 13 street lights illuminating steps in the Silk Mill industrial estate area were put back on to make it safer for pedestrians.
Out of the 1,131 lights in Tring that were converted to part-night two months ago, just 21 of them have been switched back on.
Six lights have been switched on in Hemel Hempstead and no alterations have taken place in Berkhamsted.
Mr Hollinghurst said: “We are happy to review and make changes.
