Man charged following burglaries in Berkhamsted and Tring


A man had been charged in connection with six burglaries carried out in upmarket Berkhamsted, Tring and Harpenden.

Dennis Skiller, 34, of Cemetery Road, Houghton Regis, has been charged with burglary in connection with the following incidents:

>A Porshe was stole from Cowper Road in Harpenden on May 6. On the same day and in the same town another property in Cowper Road was burgled, cash was stolen from Milton Road and two wallets containing cash were snatched from Shakespear Road.

>In Berkhamsted, electrical items were stolen from George Street on May 8 and, on the same day, cash and jewellery were taken from a home in Orchard Gardens, Tring.

Mr Skiller has also been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and driving without insurance.

He appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on Wednesday (May 13) where he was remanded in custody.
