A man has died following a collision in Aston Clinton near Tring yesterday (April 11).

The incident took place on the A41 Aston Clinton Bypass at about 9.40am when a black Renault Clio was in collision with a white articulated lorry in a layby on the road.

Sadly the driver of the Renault, a 26-year-old man, died at the scene of the incident. His next of kin have been informed.

Investigating officer PC Ashley Jordan, of the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing Unit, based at Amersham, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who saw the Renault prior to the collision to call Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference 292 (11/4).”
