INCREASING demand for its service has seen a charity move to a new home.

Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH) – part of the newly-merged charity Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care – has transferred to Tring Industrial Estate at Icknield Way.

IRHH chief executive Robert Breakwell said: “We had reached the stage where we were having to turn away volunteers because we had no more room to accommodate them in our Western Road office.

“Having the capacity to accept more offers of assistance was vital to our development.”

He thanked companies which have donated furniture, storage utilities and a complete show kitchen to keep the cost of the move down.

“Our nursing service also has room to expand to meet the demand of rising patient numbers,” he added.

Meanwhile, the hospice team is calling for donations for its fifth annual Goodnight Walk.

The 1970s-themed stroll will take place in Amersham on June 18.

If you can donate any psychedelic shirts, hot pants or disco outfits, call 01442 890222.
