A HEART attack victim was so impressed with the health benefits of far infra red therapy that he stopped taking vital heart medication and has launched a clinic providing the service.
Instead of drugs to thin his blood and lower his cholesterol, Derek Jones from Hemel Hempstead treats his fragile heart using a far infra red massage bed and a far infra red sauna.
He said: “I first came across the beds in Thailand and decided to try it for myself and started to feel great.
“I used to feel too tired to get out of bed on Sundays when I worked five days a week, now I work seven days and wake up feeling motivated and looking for something to do. I’m up on the roof fixing chimneys and all sorts.
“My doctor said if I stopped taking the drugs I would probably have another heart attack and die but I stopped taking them eight months ago and I feel brilliant. Never felt better.”
