A night of spooky entertainment is in store for visitors to Hemel Hempstead’s Old Town.
The historic area’s history will be revealed during a night-time ghost walk on Monday (April 20).
Those brave enough will be welcomed by Henry VIII at Gadebridge Park’s walled garden and the tour will go via the old fire station and up the High Street to meet some friendly and not so friendly apparitions.
During the spine chilling hour and a half, walkers will learn about the area’s history and hear some spooky stories of past inhabitants.
Pubs and shops are also taking part by opening up their premises and cellars for the event, starting at 8pm and there will be some ghostly surprises along the way.
Tickets cost £12 for adults and £6 for children, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, and can be purchased from the Enchanted Oak at 40 High Street, 01442 500128.
