MORE than 1,000 videos have been watched on an online community television station since it launched on Sunday.
The colourful site at www.deetv.tv has almost 60 videos on it featuring people, towns and event in Dacorum.
The site was designed by Aliastair McDowall who is on the team of Dee TV directors, which includes Lindy Foster Weinreb and her daughter Mischka, from Berkhamsted.
They wanted to create a portal for people in the area to be seen and heard.
Scores have logged on to watch the channel’s 56 programmes and so far have totted up 1,050 plays.
There will be plenty more to see as the channel has made links with schools and community groups to set up future programmes.
There is also a host of forthcoming events that will be filmed and broadcast.
The Dee TV team is appealing for people to vote for the project at communityforcenatwest.com so it could win funding to do more.
The station is run on a voluntary basis and people can visit the site at deetv.tv to get involved.
