Tring School students tried their hand at riot gear and a speed gun when police visited their careers fair yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
PC Laz Clark and PCSO Lyndsey Cunningham had the chance to talk to pupils about what it's like to work in the force.
More than 58 organisations from a range of different sectors attended the event, which was organised for more than 1,500 students at the school on Mortimer Hill.
Both officers talked about their career paths and what their roles involve before answering any questions the teenagers had for them.
PC Clark said: "We got an awful lot of interest - we were swamped for most of the afternoon.
"Lyndsey and I really enjoyed meeting the next generation, it was a pleasure to talk to them about their plans for the future.
"Who knows, we may even be welcoming some of them into our policing family in years to come. We had a great afternoon and the school has already invited us back next year."
