DARTS fans will be able to stand on the ochey alongside a famous player at a charity event held in a pub.
The Bell in Tring High Street will welcome sport star Kevin ‘The Artist’ Painter for the final day of their Tring festival of Darts.
The weekend, sponsored by Solgar Vitamin and Herb, will raise money for Tring-based Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.
The event raised £4,500 last year and is held in memory of popular punter Gary Giddings, who was treated by the hospice before he died aged 45 of leukaemia in September 2009.
The weekend will start with a 24-hour darts marathon on March 19. Anyone can play from 8pm and sponsor forms are available for £5 each. League players will take over for out of licensed hours.
Painter will be at the pub from 5pm and donations are required from people who want to play him.
A bumper raffle with more than 50 prizes will take place at 8.15pm on Sunday before an auction at 9pm.
