Signs of improvement for elderly pedestrian involved in motorbike smash

The condition of an elderly woman, aged in her 70s, who was hit by a motorbike has slightly improved, say police.

Officers have revealed that the pedestrian, who was knocked down in Kings Langley High Street, is now in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

The young rider of the black XT600 Tenere Yamaha motorcycle, who was taken to Watford General Hospital with serious injuries, has now been discharged.

Police are still appealing for witnessed to the accident, which happened on Thursday, July 31 just before 1pm.
