SKATERS and BMX riders are being encouraged to have their say over future improvements to the skate park in Gadebridge Park, Hemel Hempstead.

From 10.30am to 2.30pm tomorrow staff from Dacorum Borough Council will be at the skate park talking to users about their views on the current facilities and what improvements they’d like to see made.

For anyone who can’t make the event but would like to have their say, a survey can be found online at from tomorrow until next Thursday, April 19.

Volunteers can also put their name forward to join the skate park user group, which will be working with the council in the future on any improvements.

A sum of £3,000 has been earmarked by the council to pay for repairs, including re-concreting, and maintenance at the popular extreme sports rendezvous.
