A support group for sufferers of a rare auto-immune condition is hoping its third coffee morning will reach even more people with the debilitating illness.
The Sjogren’s Syndrome group will meet at 10am on Saturday, October 19, at Hemel Hempstead Methodist Church in Marlowes. There will be a bring and buy sale to raise funds for the British Sjogren’s Syndrome Association.
Sufferer Lucille Thomas said: “The group is still in infancy and we would like to reach as many people as possible to offer support.
“We are pleased it is all going in the right direction and hopefully the group will grow.”
Sjogren’s Syndrome is the UK’s second most common auto-immune rheumatic disease, which causes dry eyes and mouth, joint and muscle pain and fatigue.
