A mother has warned people to beware of a flasher who exposed himself to her 14-year-old daughter as the girl walked through a park near a children’s playground.

The woman, writing on the members-only Facebook page Everything Berko, said there were small children playing not far from where the alleged indecent exposure happened in Butts Meadow Recreation Ground.

She said the man had red hair and was in his mid-20s, chubby, wearing suit trousers with a pale blue shirt worn over the top of them.

The woman said her daughter was ‘sickened’ after being flashed at about 7pm yesterday.

The flasher also allegedly exposed himself in nearby Doctors Commons Road, Berkhamsted, according to the woman.

Police spokesman Giles Cooper said: “It has been reported to us as an incident of a male acting suspiciously in Doctors Commons Road at about 7pm.

“Two or possibly three people have reported this.”

But he said he could not reveal any further details until officers had been able to speak to the people who rang the police.

He said that there was a chance that they could all relate to the same incident – and one person may have given the name of the wrong road.

He said: “Officers attended and carried out an area search at the time, but could not find the man.”
