Teenager who escaped police custody is arrested

A 17-year-old boy who escaped police custody on Bank Holiday Monday has now been arrested.

The teenager, from Hemel Hempstead, handed himself in to police on Saturday, September 3 and he currently remains in custody.

Officers first arrested him on Sunday, August 28 on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and driving whilst disqualified after a collision in Belswains Lane, Hemel Hempstead.
