STUDENTS Tring Park performing arts school are putting on a controversial play about euthanasia to raise funds for the National Spinal Injuries Centre Amenities Charity
They researched Whose Life Is It Anyway? by Brian Clark by visiting the spinal injuries unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to gain understanding.
The performance in the school’s Markova at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 25 is for a specially invited audience of staff from the hospital, as well as members of the public.
It is about a sculptor called Ken Harrison, who has been paralysed from the neck down in a car accident and is determined to be allowed to die.
He leaves the audience with conflicting feelings about his desire to end his life.
