TICKETS for the Tringe Comedy Festival are selling faster than last year’s event with more than 3,500 seats sold and a number of events already selling out.
The Roving Comedy Night on July 1, which will feature both amateur and professional stand-up comedians performing in four different pubs in Tring, has proved most popular by selling out completely.
This means the Gazette’s own editor John Francis will be among a number of novices performing to a packed house.
Organiser Ben Moorhouse said: “Sales are going well but we still have stacks of tickets left for shows as we have more than half to sell. The good thing is we have sold tickets across the board.”
There are a number of half price tickets up for grabs for some of the shows and The Horrible Histories 2pm show on July 9 is yet to sell a ticket.
