A SCHOOL has been given a boost in funding that will enable it to replace old and inefficient boilers.
Tring School in Mortimer Hill will be able to afford an estimated £200,000 to carry out the work after being promised funding from Herts County Council.
The council will supply £130,000 of capital funding on top of £70,000 that the school has already saved.
Teaching departments have also been boosted by £6,000 in donations into a trust set up in November asking parents to dig deep and help with finances.
