Tring School students enjoyed remarkable successes in their GCSE exams.
A string of students got straight A and A* grades – including Naomi Brehm who got eight A* grades and three As.
She said: “I feel really happy. I am really shocked by some of my results. Some of them I did not really expect, but I got A* in all the ones I am doing for A-level.”
She will study maths, biology, physics and French at A-level next year.
Naomi is pictured with mates Rebekah Velounias (middle), who got nine As and two A* grades, and Philippa Doughty (left), who got five As and six A* grades.
Joe Baldwin (far left) got four A* grades, five As, and two Bs. He said: “It’s really good and I’m really happy with that.”
The 16-year-old will now study chemistry, maths, geography and “probably physics” at A-level.

Headteacher Sue Collings said: “We are obviously delighted with the results.
“We have now got a large number of our students staying on for Tring School’s sixth form, which again is fantastic.
“We have got some students going on to college placements and we are really pleased for them, because they are following their destiny.”
She said the school was particularly impressed with its ‘very impressive’ science results compared to previous years.
