An author whose debut novella was a violent Brit gangster tale has now penned a modern day love story - and he promises a happy ending.
Tim Thomas has just published his second eBook - Then There Was Hope - which tells the story of a chance meeting that changes a woman’s life.
He said: “It is totally different. It is still a thriller but it’s a love story.”

Now the 45-year-old television and film extra, who regularly does work for EastEnders and Holby City, is hoping to turn his hand to script writing with the help of those he’s met through the filming industry.
“I treat it as a hobby because if you get too carried away you are setting yourself up for disappointment,” said Tim, of Cotterells, Hemel Hempstead.
He was helped with the book by his cousin, professional proof reader Mike Harris, who in 2009 published his grandfather’s book The Cypress Branches. It hit the book shelves when former paratrooper William Thomas was in the grips of Alzheimer’s disease. He saw the book published before passing away in February last year.
