Two more sentenced in Billy murder case


TWO young people involved in the killing of Billy Dove have been sentenced for affray.

Charlie Samson, 18, of St Agnells Lane, Hemel Hempstead, who pleaded guilty to the charge in May, was sentenced to 112 days in prison.

However, he was released by the judge today (Friday) due to the time he has already spent in custody on remand.

Carl Williams, 21, of Barnacres Road, Hemel Hempstead, was given a 12 month community order.

Another of the group - Ben Sears, 19, of Belsize Road, Hemel Hempstead, who pleaded guilty to affray in March, will be sentenced at a later date.

Earlier today 17-year-old Darren McGrath, of Essex Mead, Hemel Hempstead, was sentenced to a minimum of 14 years behind bars after pleading guilty to murder.
