Firefighters battled a Hemel Hempstead barn blaze to prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
Crews from Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley and St Albans were called to Lovetts End Farm in Dodds Lane, Piccotts End, just before 3.30pm yesterday.
The barn - measuring around 50m by 100m - contained straw and hay.
Firefighters used water hoses to cool off the surrounding area to prevent the flames from spreading and one crew was at the farm until 4am this morning.
They revisited at 7am and are due to return at 11am today.
Watch commander Andy Esson said: “The firefighters worked really hard. They did a good job.”
