It’s now your opportunity to work for change for the better

May I appeal to residents to consider becoming a local councillor.

We need some troops to take on the developers.

We have just experienced a full council in Rother unable to make a decision, mainly because developers are in control of planning.

We should not have a situation, where a developer can say I want to build here, you try and stop me.

In Wealden, Rother and Lewes districts we are seeing over development, while the local councils say the infrastructure and services are not their responsibility, it’s the county council.

The county council have no money to spend, so there are more cuts in services.

If you are concerned about over development, social care, education and transport, do something about it.

We have an opportunity to change things in May this year.
