Funding from the Herts Disability Sports Forum for Young People is available to clubs and organisations in the county to help deliver sporting opportunities to disabled people.

The Disability Sport Support Scheme was set up to provide grants that will help underpin costs incurred in setting up a new activity, buying equipment, and training coaches.

Applicants can request up to £500 through the scheme, which is available until February 2014.

So far funds have been awarded to the Herts Disabled Cricket Association, Get Set Learn in Three Rivers, and the North Herts Disabled Sports Association.
