Anti-racism football bonanza is heading to Hemel Hempstead


A free football tournament has been organised for young people in Dacorum.

Dacorum Borough Council, Arsenal Soccer Schools Hertfordshire, Sportspace Longdean, Youth Connexions, Hemel Islamic Society, Global Pindd, and the Bangladeshi Welfare Association have joined forces to stage the competition, which will take place at Hemel Hempstead Athletics Track on Saturday, November 2.

A Kick It Out Dacorum event, the tournament is aimed at young people aged 16 to 21.

As well as the match action, the Arsenal Soccer Schools Hertfordshire team will be holding a free coaching in football workshop to outline to young people the career pathways in the game.

The workshop starts at 10am, with the tournament running from 11am-2pm. Players can sign up online at
