Berkhamsted to start the FA Cup run away at Ashford

Berkhamsted FC have been drawn away to Middlesex side Ashford Town in the extra preliminary round of this season’s FA Cup competition.

Ashford were relegated from the Calor North Division to the Combined Counties League at the end of last season after finishing bottom of the table, and Berko will be looking to pile on the misery when the two sides meet on Saturday, August 16.

Leverstock Green and Tring Athletic, meanwhile, have also been handed interesting FA Cup fixtures – with Levy welcoming Newport Pagnell Town to Pancake Lane and Tring hosting fellow SSML club Holmer Green.

In the FA Vase, Berko will be at home to London Tigers on Saturday, September 6, while Leverstock and Tring have both been handed byes through to the next round of the competition.
