WATFORD Ladies FC will be showcasing their talents in Berkhamsted next weekend as they look to build their fanbase in the town ahead of the new FA Women’s Premier League National Division campaign.
The Golden Girls will be playing their home games at Berkhamsted Football Club’s Broadwater ground this season, bringing a taste of top level football to Dacorum.
The promotional day will be held on Saturday, and the club will be giving away posters and fixture lists from a stall at Berkhamsted market.
There will also be Watford Ladies season tickets for sale, and a raffle to win a signed Watford FC shirt.
Nearby, on Berkhamsted moor, the Watford Ladies coaching staff will be running various footballing events throughout the day for people to watch and/or get involved in.
Activities include a freestyle skills school, beat the keeper challenge, and exhibition training drills demonstrated by first team manager John Salomon and a number of the Watford Ladies first team squad.
Events get under way at 10am, and for further information, please email Steve Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org
