Kings hit for six by Doors

Although Kings Sports scored first against SWR Doors, through Aaron McGovern, they were made to pay as Doors replied with six. Alex McCarthy grabbed two with Alfie Mullan, Warren Drysdale, Joe Copson and Aaron Lennon all finding the Kings net.

Hemel Rovers went on the rampage with a 7-2 thrashing over Hadley. Jordan Aikman put Rovers in front after only 15 seconds and goals from Paul Hanafan, who helped himself to a treble, Ray Wood, Curtis Donaldson and Jamal Babb did the damage.

Rovers Reserves came away from Park Street with a 5-2 winning score line thanks to efforts by Dan Allen (2), Mylie Cash (2) and Wasim Hussain.

Tring Athletic B had a good result at Croxley winning 4-3. Gadebridge FC managed a 2-2 home draw against Martin Baker Rovers, Charlie Martindale and Ged Butler their marksmen.

Hemel Rovers A team again were beaten, this time a 1-6 home defeat by Harpenden Rovers. A Sean Palmer penalty was the hosts’ only bright spot.

Potten End picked up all the points in a 2-1 victory at Oxhey.

In the cup Hemel Sharpshooters went out going down 4-6 to Maple Cross. Mark Griffiths, Warren Davies, Louis Miller and Nick Reynolds were their scorers.
