Leverstock Green suffered their first league defeat under Dene Gardner as Holmer Green staged a late fightback to win 3-2 at Pancake Lane.
In an end-to-end encounter, Levy made a slow start and found themselves behind in the third minute when Dean Powles dived in to head Holmer into an early lead.
They almost got a second in the 10th minute through a Dean Allen free-kick, but the equaliser came in the 21st minute as Levy were awarded an indirect free-kick inside the box and Liam O’Keefe fed Chad Pinching to fire home.
Both sides had further chances, but it was Levy who went in with the half-time advantage as they broke quickly and Pinching dinked the ball into the net.
But Holmer stepped up their game after the break and notched a deserved equaliser in the 75th minute as Andy Goddard stabbed the ball home from a corner.
Leverstock responded with an effort from Harry Henley that came back off the post, and Stewart King was denied what looked like a clear penalty.
The game could have gone either way, but it was Holmer who snatched the win when Ryan Tackley pounced late on to make it 3-2.
