The Long Marston Reserves were denied all three points by a late equaliser from third-placed Wendover Reserves.

With the first team game having been postponed, it was decided that Bradley Joyce should make his debut for the reserves and he threatened the Wendover goal with a number of long range efforts.

And with 10 minutes played, Joyce sent a teasing cross over for Marcus Tower to nod home and put his side in front.

Joyce and Tower were combining well, but the game became increasingly scrappy as the pitch continued to be pounded with heavy rain.

Wendover’s direct style eventually forced an error and the hosts bagged a deserved equaliser with two minutes remaining to earn a share of the spoils.
