Leamington boss Paul Holleran believes hanging on to Stefan Moore will turn out to be one of his most important pieces of summer business.
Moore joined fellow striker Ricky Johnson and midfielder Sam Adkins this week in committing to Brakes for the 2013/14 campaign and Holleran says the value of a prolific striker cannot be overstated.
“Signing him in January was a massive boost for us,” said Holleran. “It wasn’t just his goals but his assists and he did a lot of good work on and off the pitch for us.
“Players that can put the ball in the back of the net are extremely valuable and I’m glad to have the deal tied up.
“He is one the players who can lift their game and go on next season.”
One striker who will not be returning, however, is Tom Berwick, with the former Daventry Town forward having opted to make the switch to Corby Town.
