New Hemel Hempstead Town manager Tommy Widdrington has pledged to turn the club’s fortunes around and rescue the Tudors from their current plight.
The 40-year-old heads to Vauxhall Road with a wealth of experience from both the professional and non league games and says he can’t wait to get stuck into his Vauxhall Road challenge.
Speaking before his side’s clash with Chesham United on Saturday, Widdrington said: “The chairman (Dave Boggins) and the board have shown good ambition in the meetings we’ve had.
“I want to bring the winning times back to Hemel.”
