AFC Boars have been crowned BSFL Senior Cup champions after doing the business in impressive fashion against Comets Sports Club in the final of the competition.
Curtis Donaldson, Sonny French, Mark Burfoot and Lewis Cruwys got the goals for Boars as they ran out 4-2 winners to take the trophy.
Elsewhere, Leverstock Green Corinthians have pipped The Bull Athletic to the BSFL Division One title after the two met in a thrilling 10-goal top of the table clash.
Their 6-4 win means that the ever-improving Corinthians have now racked up three promotions in the past four seasons, and can now look forward to strutting their stuff in the Premier Division next term.
Their victory was by no means straightforward against the gutsy Athletic side, however, and the Leverstock outfit were indebted to an 11th minute penalty save from goalkeeper Steve Reader.
Eventually they proved too strong, though, and got the job done with goals from Matthew Dilly, Paul Hunt, Chris Armorgie, Alex Kinsley, Ben Davis and Michael Dance.
Meanwhile, this weekend’s solitary Division Two fixture saw Focus earn a 3-1 win at FC Intervino, with Alan Arthur bagging a brace and Louis Miller also finding the net.
There were goals galore in Division Three, with Berko Tornadoes A thrashing A&A Flooring 7-1 in their own back yard.
Nick Gain was the man of the moment for Tornadoes as he blasted home four goals, with Sam Waterhouse, James Foster and Parves Rehman also getting on the scoresheet.
A brace apiece from Perry Rogers and Chris Sykes, along with a single from Rahaul Thacker, earned Sporting Blackbirds a 5-3 win in an entertaining clash with Echoes, while The Old Bell Gate returned home with all three points from AFC Saints as Adam Smith (2), Kirren Taylor and Mathew Hatchett earned a 4-1 win.
The final game in the division saw Boxmoor edge it by the odd goal in five against Berko Athletic Reserves. Haydn Cassidy, Andy Scott and Jack Dowling got the goals in a 3-2 victory.
