The Tring Athletic B team are hoping for a big crowd for Wednesday night’s charity match against new sponsors Veolia at Cow Lane.

The two sides will battle it out to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign’s Wear It Pink appeal and there will be food available at the ground.

All proceeds from the game will go to the charity and entry is £2 for children and £3 for adults.

There will also be a raffle on the night and Tring Athletic B manager Stephen Alford is looking for donations from local businesses.

“We’re asking local businesses if they can give something to help the raffle,” he said.

“Whether it’s an item to raffle or a service they can provide – spa days-beauty treatments – anything would be great.”

To donate a raffle item, email Stephen at

Gates open at 6pm and the match gets under way at 7pm.
