Unbeaten run comes to an end for Whites

Levy Green Ladies Whites 3
 St Martins 6

Leverstock Green Ladies Whites were beaten in the league for the first time in more than a season by a fired up St Martins side who deserved the victory.

The match started with St Martins kicking down the slope and dominating the early exchanges and it was against the run of play when Levy took the lead.

Cally Salter was the goalscorer, converting a brilliant Pru Squires-Adams corner with an excellent powerful header into the far corner of the goal after five minutes.

St Martins responded in emphatic style and raced into a 3-1 lead, but goals from Mia Hickey and Salter ensured the sides went in level at half-time.

The second half began with Levy in the ascendancy, but St Martins gradually began to take control and earned the victory with three goals in the last 15 minutes.
