TUDORS: Hemel Town boss Tommy Widdrington has vowed to instil some nastiness in his side’s play – and warned his players that their trial period is nearly over.
Widdrington has picked up two draws from two games since he took charge at the start of this month, but is looking to improve the results with some grit and determination.
“Everyone is willing to accept the ball but we lack steel, nastiness and strength,” he said.
“I’m giving these lads the best chance I can to show me what they can do but that can only last so long and that time is coming to an end.
“The boys really do have to step up to the plate.”
“The fans have expressed their opinion that things are improving and the players have said the same.”
