The Camelot U10s head into the festival season on the back of another impressive display against a strong Bedford outfit.

The visitors brought three teams to Chaulden Lane to take on two mixed ability Camelot sides, and again it was the Dacorum youngsters that came out on top with some impressive tackling, passing and rucking.

A total of six matches were played, with Camelot winning four, drawing one and losing just one game. They scored a total of 23 tries in the process, conceding 12.

The result was the perfect confidence booster as the team heads off for two successive tournament weekends, starting with the Hertfordshire County Contact Rugby Festival on Saturday at Barnet Elizabethans.

The following weekend parents and children are looking forward to the annual trip down to Dorset to participate in the Bournemouth Mini Rugby Tournament 2014.

The squad is still on the lookout for new recruits – please email head coach Dave Martin for information.
