LITTLE Hay’s golfers made the most of superb course conditions to post some good scores in the August Medal competitions.
Nick Pinnock was triumphant in Division One of the men’s competition with a score of 69.
Ashley Wade finished as runner-up on countback, with Darren Blackman in third.
Meanwhile, Tony Cooke’s 66 was enough to take the Division Two title.
Andrew Skelton and Glen Mason finished in second and third places, respectively.
In the ladies’ event, Alison Sexton (63) swept to a five-shot triumph over Barbara Frost (68).
Jenny Williams was a further shot back in third position.
The ladies’ putting competition, which was played within the Medal round, was won by Linda Cusick who took only 26 putts over the 18 holes.
Elsewhere, Little Hay Men have defended their Herts Friendly League title, beating Panshanger 210-206 on Saturday.
