Hemel Stags have renewed their sponsorship deal with British holiday company Haven Holidays after a successful partnership last season.
Haven is based in Hemel Hempstead and became the Stags’ main sponsor in their first campaign in Kingstone Press Championship 1.
Hemel Stags sales and marketing director Tom Hamlyn Williams said: “It is fantastic that Haven Holidays have agreed to come on board for another year and it certainly feels like our relationship is going to turn into a long term partnership.
“Our partnership is one of true synergy as many Haven Holidays employees enjoy tickets and hospitality at our first team games and they are also involved in helping us run our community programmes.
“We want our partnership to course through the veins of everyone involved at Hemel Stags and everyone connected with Haven Holidays.”
Williams said he is also passionate about bringing new sponsors into the sport of rugby league, adding: “Bringing new sponsors into the game is what being a new club in the professional game is all about.
“New sponsors, new players, new fans and we are making great progress in all of these areas.
“The main focus is illustrating what value we, as a professional rugby league club, can have for a company such as Haven Holidays and then delivering a professional product that delivers return on investment.”
Naomi Woodstock, head of publicity at Haven Holidays, said: “The team have done extremely well in their first year of professional playing and we are delighted to be supporting them again.
“I have been asked ‘why rugby league?’ Well as a family holiday provider we are always looking at ways to encourage families to spend time together at home as well as on holiday and what better way than a great day out at the rugby league.
“We also like to support the local community not just on our holiday parks but here in Hemel Hempstead where our head office is based.”
The Stags will be launching their new home shirts on February 8 at their pre-season launch dinner at Pendley Manor hotel in Tring.
