Hemel Stags have renewed their sponsorship deal with Palmers Motors for their second season in Championship 1, in the same week that their fixtures were announced for the 2014 campaign.
Palmers sponsored the club in their amateur era and have been happy to work with the Stags on their step into the professional ranks.
Danny Palmer, owner of Palmers, said: “We have been a long-standing supporter of Hemel Stags and we want to see them develop further and step up the leagues.
“I see the professional team inspiring the younger generation of players in Hemel Hempstead and this is something that we want to support at Palmers.”
Tom Hamlyn Williams, Hemel Stags sales and marketing director, said: “Danny and Palmers Motors have been fantastic supporters for a long time and our continued relationship means a great deal to us here at the club.
“The transition from amateur to professional has presented its challenges on many fronts and our deal with Palmers always ensures that we remember our past.
“It also helps us to remember what our continuing transformation can mean for young rugby players in Hemel Hempstead by inspiring them to play semi-professional or professional sport.”
Palmers will appear on hoardings around Hemel Stags’ first team pitch again and will also feature on each sleeve of the Hemel Stags first team kit.
Hemel Stags will kick off their season at home on March 2 when they host Championship 1 newcomers Hunslet Hawks.
