Popular author Jane Bidder has been at Hemel Hempstead Library discussing her band new family crime drama ‘GUILTY’ which has just been published by Accent Press.
The plot is about a solicitor who goes to prison for two years for a driving offence. While locked up he shares a cell with the voice of his dead victim.
At the talk Bidder revealed her latest book was inspired by her time as writer in residence of a high security male prison. Guilty has had a lot of publicity in the national media including a recent write-up in The Daily Telegraph. Bidder, who hails originally from Harrow, said she thoroughly enjoyed her time at Hemel Library.
“I am very keen to do free events for libraries because they are so important to the community,” she said.
