HARRY Potter fans will be able to see behind the scenes of the hit movie series when tours of Leavesden Studios begin next year.

For £28 per adult and £21 per child, visitors will get the chance to stand in the Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office and Hagrid’s hut.

The tour, spread over 150,000 sq ft, includes costumes, animatronics, special effects and props used in all eight of the Harry Potter films.

Daniel Radcliffe, who played the boy wizard, said: “It was such a magical place to grow up. People will be amazed to see the incredible environment we’ve worked in all these years.”

Last year Warner Brothers were given permission by planning chiefs to revamp and expand the studios to include new stages, buildings and workshops at the site in South Way, Abbots Langley.

Film agency Screen East said the development would boost the Herts economy by between £17 million and £27 million.

Tickets for the ‘Warner Bros Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter’ will be available from October 13 at www.wbstudiotour.co.uk
