If you’ve ever wondered just how much your granny’s favourite teapot might be worth, or just want to find out a little more about the history of family heirloom, then Ashridge House is the place for you on Sunday.
The Dacorum Heritage Trust has organised an antiques valuation day with help from a team of experts from Amersham Auction Rooms.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm and it will cost you £3 per item to get your treasures checked over – but don’t take a whole chest full, because the offer is limited to a maximum of five items per person.
There will be a similar session at Apsley’s Shendish Manor on Thursday, November 14.
The events will help raise funds to support the work of the Trust in preserving the borough’s history.
