Many regular arts events take a summer break during August to recharge their batteries – but not the Music To Your Ears sessions in Chesham.

They’ll be serving up another strong line-up of live music at the Loft bar in the High Street on Friday night, kicking off at 8.15pm.

Bela Takes Chase, who captivated the MTYE faithful with a recent acoustic set, returns with the full band as promised.

Her memorable songs and unique voice have helped her to make a big impact on the music scene, with her first EP Rough Luxe, featuring the single Miles Away, making it on to playlists for radio stations up and down the country.

Also on the bill are The Rakettes, an up-and-coming Bucks four-piece who draw on a wide range of influences to create their own innovative, energetic brand of indie dance music.

Opening the evening will be Chesham duo CCU who have been making music on and off for more than 20 years and in that time released four albums, including this year’s Old Masters.

MYTE supremo Martin Freeman describes Friday’s line-up as one of his strongest yet at the monthly sessions at the town’s George & Dragon. Find out more at
