FOR The Love of Folk - the acoustic / folk night where arts and crafts are thrown in too - returns to Indy Jax in Hemel next Thursday with another great line-up.

Jake Morley, whose debut album Many Fish To Fry will be released soon, returns with his mad style of guitar playing. He lies the instrument on his lap and taps it very fast with his fingertips while smashing out drum beats. Jake puts everything into his music and his positive, uplifting performances will sweep you off your feet.

And there’s some amazing support too.

Born entertainer and lyricist Jonny Taylor’s cheeky, captivating storytelling, both as an acoustic and full band performance, is guaranteed to hold your attention. He’s supported US Grammy nominated Jason Mraz at the Hammersmith Apollo and has secured endorsements from Music Week Magazine and BBC 6 Music DJs Tom Robinson and Chris Hawkins.

Young upcoming singer-songwriter Ethan Ash with his jelly babies, red shoes and good time vibes joins him, along with Hertfordshire based Tim Watt who captivates an audience with his haunting melodies and soulful vocals. He’s performed an array of shows from the lights of Las Vegas to legendary folk venues like The Troubadour in London and The Bitter End in New York.

For The Love Of Folk will be at Indy Jax, 168a The Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead on Thursday, February 10, 7.30pm to 11pm.

Tickets available at £4 on the door, or go online at
