Redbourn Players’ spring production is the first of the famous Aldwych farces ‘Tons of Money’ written by Will Evans and Valentine and first produced in 1922 starring the great farce actor Ralph Lynn.
Aubrey Henry Maitland Allington is an unsuccessful inventor who lives in a large home in the country. Unfortunately he has a list of debts longer than his name. Much needed financial relief arrives in the form of a life interest in a large inheritance. But he also has a lot of debt and complications arise with wives and impostors forcing him to take drastic steps. Chaos and confusion ensues.
