Old Mother Hubbard has a cupboard full of charm

GARLIC Theatre’s wonderful production of children’s favourite Old Mother Hubbard comes to Hemel’s Old Town Hall this Saturday and is an ideal first theatrical experience for three to six year olds.

But don’t worry if you’re a little bit older than that because adults too will be delighted by the spicy blend of slapstick and folk humour in this fresh and funny adaptation, with well-crafted glove puppets, singing teapots and a feast of musical treats.

And just in case you need reminding of the story – Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard to fetch her poor dog a bone, but when she got there, the cupboard was bare …. or was it?

A dotty old woman takes you on a nursery rhyme journey as she clatters about in her kitchen with her dancing dog sniffing out trouble in the most unlikely places.
