If you’re the sort who always spots the killer in the TV thriller, put your skills to the test at Pendley’s Court Theatre this week.

Writer and director Karen Banfield has constructed the fifth annual Pendley Theatre Company detective challenge, Murder In The Manse.

It’s April 1910 and a mixed bag of troubled toffs gather for therapeutic retreat, but soon there’s a body in their midst.

The full length play is interspersed with breaks for a main meal and a dessert, and during these breaks you can work as a team to accuse the member of the cast you think did the deadly deed. The team with the most points wins a prize.

Tickets are £17 each including buffet (no concessions) and must be booked in advance so catering arrangements can be made.

Tables of eight are available at £120.

The curtain goes up promptly at 7.30pm each evening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and there is also a noon matinee on Saturday afternoon.
